Colin Booth

Colin Booth has exhibited widely throughout the UK and Europe, with solo exhibitions at the De La Warr Pavilion, James Hockey Gallery, Herbert Read Gallery, Laing Art Gallery, La Cambre University in Brussels, MOCA, London and V&A Museum of Childhood. In 2021 he was selected for a residency at the prestigious Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens in Belgium.

His work spans all media, including painting, sculpture, print, photography, text, neon, marble and installation. He often works with found or abandoned materials, more recently incorporating natural objects such as feathers, leaves, branches and lichen. He regularly collaborates with photographers, designers, carpenters and fabricators.

Thirty years ago, he launched Electro Studios in West St Leonards in East Sussex, currently featuring sixteen studios and two galleries, of which he is the Curator/Director.
